I like French cars. Especially the little older ones from the 1950's to 1970's. Just think of the Citroën DS and SM, the Renault Alpines, the coupés and cabriolets of Peugeot, Facel, etc. But of course also today there are some very nice ones. Take my own cars for example...
April 2015. Peugeot RCZ R.
From October 2010 until April 2015 I owned a Peugeot RCZ.
Back in 2007, when this car was presented as concept (308 RC Z), I kind of fell in love already with it. It was the 200HP version and it really was fun driving it.
Here is also an interesting picture, an idea that my colleague Colin, a bike enthusiast, had:
Peugeot meets Peugeot.
From April 2006 until October 2010 I owned a Peugeot 407 Coupé.
Here are some pictures of my Peugeot 407 Coupé.
From May 2002 until September 2005 I owned a beautiful Peugeot 406 Coupé. This car, designed by Pininfarina, was first presented in 1996.
In 2005 I was unlucky twice. During my summer vacation in Southern-France, people broke into my car. Then I had an accident in my home-town Munich, somebody didn't give way and crashed into my car. I have sold the total-loss car and with some delay, driving a small 206 for several months, got my 407 Coupé. In between I temporarily had a little 206.
Here are some pictures of my Peugeot 406 Coupé.
Earlier I had a 406 sedan, 205 GTI 1.9 and a 205 XS. I need to find some old pictures of these.
Beautiful sports cars from the 1960's and 1970's. Even in the 1990's the Alpines were still made. The Renault Alpine A110 was first presented in 1962. The A210 in the mid-1960's and was mainly meant for races, for example at le Mans. The A310 was first presented in 1971.
Here are some pictures of a 1971 A110 model at 1:16
scale, by BBURAGO I have.
And here are some pictures I shot during my visit to the Manoir de l'Automobile in Lohéac (35, French Brittany)
in 2003 of some A110's, A210's and A310's.
I also found two old pictures of an A310 that I took
as a child somewhere 1977 in the Alsace (F).
Big luxury cars from the 1950's and 1960's, the first ones with Chrysler V8 engines.
Here are some pictures I shot during my visit to the Manoir de l'Automobile in Lohéac (35, French Brittany)
in 2003 and at an old-timer meeting in Munich (D) in 2006 of a 1961 Facel Vega II.
